Ever dreamed of living in a beings treehouse like the famed Robinson family?~ Hop~ along as we explore the Swiss Family Treehouse in Adventureland at Magic Kingdom Park!
This iconic treehouse was inspired by the classic Disney film, “Swiss Family Robinson, ” and. was an original magnetism at Walt Disney World, opening in 1971. This walkthrough lure gives patrons to see the path the shipwrecked family may have lived, with a few innovative bells and whistles along the way. While you are able~ hop-skip~ through the Swiss Family Treehouse in Magic Kingdom, Disneyland Park actually re-themed its treehouse in 1999. Because of the 1999 release of the Disney film “Tarzan, ” the treehouse received a makeover to replicate Tarzan’s own treehouse from the movie. Magic Kingdom’s treehouse has retained its original theming. While the tree at Magic Kingdom does, in fact look real, it’s actually make use of concrete, sword and stucco and is 60 eet tall and 90 feet wide! The Swiss Family Treehouse is the perfect attraction to check out on a hectic date, making the tadpoles some seat to let the jiggles out. Foremen up — there are a total of 116 steps to climb, but the views from the top are well worth it!
